Hi, I’m Kenny, the owner of SmileHandyman.com. During the week, I work professionally — and on Sundays, I volunteer my time to help neighbors in NYC who need a little help with their devices, Wi-Fi, or everyday apps.

There’s no catch, no sales pitch, and no fees. Just me using my skills to help my neighbors.

This is a personal project I work on during my off-hours. I’m taking it one step at a time, with the hope of someday growing this into a nonprofit.

About Me & Why I Started This

Support New York isn’t a big organization. It’s a personal volunteer effort I started to give back to the city I live in.

Through my work with Smile Handyman, I’ve met many people who feel overwhelmed by technology. I realized that spending a little time with someone — patiently — could make a real difference. So I decided to use my Sundays to help, one neighbor at a time.

Right now, this is something I run personally in my spare time. Each Sunday helps me learn how I can better serve my neighbors in the future.

What I usually help with:

✓Connecting to Wi-Fi and setting up smartphones or apps
✓Simple tech support and troubleshooting at home
✓Guiding seniors through email, video calls, and basic computer tasks

What I Can Help You With

On Sundays when I'm available, I offer free help with everyday technology challenges. This is my personal way of contributing to our neighborhood.

Setting up Wi-Fi and fixing connection problems

Basic setup, installing apps, and showing you how to use them

Video Calls

Setting up Zoom, FaceTime, or WhatsApp to stay in touch with family

Email & Online Basics

Creating accounts, sending photos, and navigating the web

Home Tech Help

Setting up remotes, changing batteries, or organizing cables

Online Tasks

Filling out forms, using YouTube, and printing documents

Accessibility

Adjusting settings for low vision, hearing, or mobility needs

Note: All help is free and provided as a personal volunteer effort. I focus on low-risk, non-invasive help. For complex repairs or financial accounts, please consult a professional service.
